Victoria Beckham is reportedly set to return to U.S. TV show Ugly Betty after her successful cameo role last year. The Spice Girl appeared in the show playing herself as a bridesmaid to Vanessa Williams' catty fashion boss character, Wilhelmina Slater. Impressed TV bosses asked Beckham to return and the star has now reportedly agreed to a regular guest spot on the program.
A source tells Australian newspaper the Sydney Morning Herald, "The producers are delighted she will return. She is going to feature quite a bit." The show is becoming famous for its celebrity cameos, with supermodel Naomi Campbell and Lindsay Lohan both appearing in the latest series of the hit comedy.

The third season of Ugly Betty is to be filmed in New York, the show's actual setting.
The pilot of the comedy drama was made in New York but work was then moved to Los Angeles to save money.
However, both New York state and city authorities have recently increased the rate of tax credit for film and television production work.

Lindsay Lohan could become a regular in the next season of Ugly Betty.
The actress is in advanced talks to make a cameo appearance in the show's current season finale on May 22, according to TV Guide.
It was reported last November that Lohan had signed to play a fallen beauty queen who is forced to work at a fast food restaurant, but filming was put on hold due to the WGA strike. However, producers are now said to be keen for her to return for a "sizeable arc" of around eight episodes in the third season.

Rebecca Romjin has revealed she could be leaving the cast of Ugly Betty.
Speaking to the New York Post, the 35-year-old admitted that her character Alexis Meade will only appear in a recurring guest role in the third season.
The X-Men actress suggested that a change in the show's writers has prompted her to look elsewhere for work.

'Friends' star joins 'Ugly Betty' cast

Friends actress Marlo Thomas is the latest star to join the cast of the new series of Ugly Betty.
The TV star is renowned for her role as Rachel's mum in the hit US comedy series.
Thomas will play Sandra Winthrop, a jewelery store owner, who has a thing for younger men. The actress will have a storyline, in which she is attracted to Eric Mabius's character Daniel Meade.
Last month, it was revealed that Dawson's Creek actor James Van Der Beek and Spice Girl Victoria Beckham would be appearing on the show.
The second season of Ugly Betty begins in the US on September 27.
