A spin-off of the ABC series "The Practice." In an episode from that series' final season, James Spader's character, Alan Shore was fired from the firm and decides to work for the high-priced world of civil law, where the new series will be set. Details about the spin-off are still sketchy, but it is said to be lighter in tone than "The Practice." The Practice's James Spader and Rhona Mitra are set to star, along with "Star Trek" actor William Shatner.
