Plot
1x01 - Gangs of Little Havana / Execution in Coconut Grove:
A wall of silence from a frightened community hampers efforts to solve a brutal murder; and a mother of two is shot execution-style in her kitchen in an affluent neighborhood. In a visual style more like drama than reality show, we tail Miami homicide investigators as they race time to solve these murders. Who're the suspects? Are the detectives right? With cliffhangers at each break, both cases in this gritty episode will keep viewers guessing until the end.
1x02 - Overkill / Left for Dead:
Miami homicide detectives race against time in the critical first hours of investigation to find the evidence necessary to charge two suspects in a brutal murder case; and police find a man who's been shot and left for dead, but with no evidence, witnesses, or even a name for their victim, the detectives have got their work cut out for them. 1x03 - Blood in the Snow / Swope Park:
In Kansas City, two veteran detectives tackle a mysterious case of a young woman brutally murdered in a snowy cul-de-sac; and a female homicide sergeant and her all-male team investigate the murder of a man shot and dumped in a bucolic park. 1x05 - Body in the Park / Ruby Street Shooting:
In Philadelphia, Sergeant Irma Labrice and Detectives Leon Lubiejewski and Michael Gross don't have much time to find a murder suspect, and they don't have much to go on--the victim's body was burned beyond recognition. Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Detective Bill Kelhower and his team must gather enough physical evidence to crack a murder case because the witnesses to the crime aren't talking.

And the murder of a celebrated doctor's son leads veteran detective Evrens Ford and his rookie partner Kevin Ruggiero down a shady path of halfway houses and strip clubs.
1x11 - Stripper's Revenge / Dead On Arrival:
Hours after a jealous stripper vows revenge, her two-timing boyfriend is shot and killed. But the girlfriend is not the shooter, and it's up to Detective Tom Kulesa of Phoenix PD to unravel the mystery. Mike Polk and his team painstakingly reconstruct the final hours of a man found dead hogtied in a hotel room; the case takes a dramatic turn when they learn the killers may have been captured by the hotel's surveillance cameras.
2x06 - A Deadly Betrayal:
With Hurricane Jeanne threatening Miami, Sgt. Joe Schillaci and Det. Olga Rome must solve the murder of the owner of a popular strip club. The club's surveillance video reveals three men ambushing the victim. Schillaci and Rome soon realize this was an inside job--the victim was betrayed by one of his workers. 4x06 - Boogie Man / Murder on Flowering Peach:
Dallas Homicide Detectives respond to a call about a body in the charred remains of a car. Digging into the victim's life uncovers a dangerous lifestyle with questionable friends. With each interview, a new piece of the puzzle is revealed and investigators take one step closer to the killer. In Memphis, Sergeant Tony Mullins and his team find themselves crossing state lines into neighboring Mississippi in their hunt for the person responsible for a home invasion that left one man dead.
4x07 - The Run Around / Night Cap:
In Memphis, Sergeant Mitch Oliver and his team respond to the murder of a man shot in his car while parked at a local mini market. In order to track down their shooter, detectives must rely on witnesses who sometimes hide more than they reveal. And in Phoenix, Detective Rosenthal is investigating the case of young man shot dead and left in the parking lot of a local bar. His biggest lead is the bar's surveillance tape. It could reveal who the victim was with the night he was killed.
4x08 - Crossfire / School Ties:
In Miami, Detectives Emiliano Tamayo and Ervens Ford find a young woman shot dead in a convenience store. The store's surveillance footage reveals she may have been an innocent victim. Another man was the target. They need to find him before it's too late. Across town, fellow Miami Detectives Fernando Bosch and Rick Martinez are investigating the murder of a man shot dead on the street in the middle of the day. The victim's girlfriend was there and may know the identity of the killer.
4x09 - Fool for Love / Dumped:
At a gruesome crime scene in Dallas, TX, Detective Rick Duggan finds a badly decomposed body. To solve the case, detectives delve into the victim's past leading them on a trail lined with love and deceit. In Memphis, a dead body mysteriously dumped in an empty field has Detective Tim Helldorfer and his team scrambling for leads.
4x10 - The Wrong Man / Five Points Payback:
On a rain-soaked Memphis morning, Sgts. Tony Mullins and Mitch Oliver respond to a drive-by shooting, and learn that the victim is an innocent bystander. The man who says he was the intended target lead Mullins and Oliver on a manhunt for two brothers alleged to be the driver and the shooter. And in Dallas, when a man is shot to death in a van, Det. In Dallas, a young woman is found stabbed, beaten, and burned on a bed. The victim's 12-year-old niece and her mother are missing. Lead Detective Dale Lundberg soon discovers that this murder is extremely personal. In Memphis, Sgt. Mitch Oliver is investigating the homicide of a pool hustler found dead in a seedy motel room. The victim's car is nowhere to be found. Oliver hopes if he finds the car, he'll find his suspect.
4x13 - Motel Massacre / Pure Innocent:
A Memphis motel turns into a war zone when a gunfight leaves two men dead and another critically injured. Sgt. WD Merritt and the homicide team spring into action to find their shooter. In Kansas City, homicide Det. Everett Babcock leads the investigation into the shooting death of a two-year-old baby. To Babcock's surprise, an eight-year-old witness leads police on a nationwide manhunt.
4x14 - Broken Alibis / A Good Woman:
Miami homicide detective Freddy Ponce is called to the brutal beating death of a homeless man. After finding what he believes is the suspect, Ponce's case takes an unexpected turn. In Kansas, a grandmother is found stabbed to death in her kitchen. Detective Ray Lenoir hunts down several potential leads, but it is the forensic evidence that finally reveals their suspect.

In Memphis, a gas station clerk is shot in an armed robbery. The clerk hits the store's panic button, locking his killer inside. Moments later, the clerk dies from his wounds. When Sgt. 4x16 - Wrong Turn / Deadly Dance:
Miami Detective Carlos Castellanos and Sgt. Jose "Pepi" Granado are working the murder of a 54-year old tourist. As they hit the streets to track down the killer, they learn the victim was in town for more than the Miami sunshine: it's his son's 17th birthday. And in Memphis, a high school dance turns deadly when shots ring out. Sgt. Kevin Lundy must figure out who shot at a car outside the school, leaving one teen near death and another dead at the scene.
4x17 - Moment of Truth/Cat and Mouse:
In a Dallas parking lot, a woman is killed in a botched robbery attempt, and detectives' only witness is a teenage girl who isn't willing to talk. Their best hope is the witness' mother, who pleads with her daughter to give up the suspect. In Detroit, a young mother and her baby are tragically murdered. Detectives hunt throughout the city for their main suspect: her boyfriend.
4x18 - Senseless / Get that Money:
In Kansas City, Missouri, a young man is found dead in the middle of an apartment complex. With no leads or witnesses, Detective Ed Begley is hoping the victim's cell phone can help him find the killer. In Memphis, a case gets personal for Sgt. Caroline Mason when a woman is killed in the neighborhood where she grew up.
4x19 - Easy Prey / Widowmaker:
In Dallas, detectives are working a shooting that left a 26-year-old woman dead, when a mysterious caller gives them a one word nickname--"Mississippi." In Miami, an elderly man is found duct-taped and beaten to death outside his house as his wife of forty years is asleep inside. Detectives have to find out whether the murder is a simple robbery, or a twisted act of retribution.

In Memphis, a young couple goes missing. Fearing the worst, family members contact authorities for help. So the Memphis Homicide team finds themselves in an unusual situation: instead of investigating the loss of a life, they may be able to save one. In Miami, detectives are faced with the puzzling case of a young man shot behind a barbershop. With each new discovery, detectives get closer and closer to the truth. They ultimately realize that things aren't exactly as they appear.

In Memphis, a well-loved neighborhood investor is shot, and the only eyewitness is a young girl on her way home from school. Sgt. Mitch Oliver and his team must persuade the girl's mother to let her talk to police. And in Miami, the murder of a homeless man appears to involve the notorious MS-13 gang. Detective Aguilar and his team follow a mysterious trail of graffiti that they hope will lead to the killer.
5x10 - Silenced:
In Dallas, Detectives Bob Ermatinger and Ken Penrod investigate the murder of an unidentified young woman found shot to death at White Rock Lake. With a number of good prints on the scene, Blehm hopes that the forensic evidence will aid him in the hunt for his killer.

In Cincinnati, a well-loved 58 year-old man is found shot dead in a hallway, still clutching a five-dollar bill. Detectives Matt Thompson and Doug Lindle visit the grief-stricken wife and learn the victim was murdered a day before his birthday. Thompson and Lindle rely on the help of the community to track down the suspects last seen with the victim moments before he was murdered.
