Recently divorced psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane moves back from Boston, MA to his home town of Seattle, Washington, where his ex-policeman father, Martin Crane, and his psychiatrist brother, Niles Crane, also live. He moves into an expensive apartment with his father and his father's newly appointed health care worker from England, Daphne Moon, which whom Niles had a big secret crush on for six years until they started dating. Frasier also lands a job as a radio psychiatrist and makes very good friends with his newly appointed producer, Roz Doyle.

Plot
11x01 - No Sex Please, We're Skittish:
Roz dislikes her new job and wants to return to KACL. Niles suspects that she is in love with Frasier, but she insists that this isn't true. She decides to follow Niles' facetious advice, and just shows up for work at KACL as if nothing happened. Frasier thinks that Roz is in love with him, and is afraid to sleep with Julia because he believes he holds some strange power over women. Niles accuses Frasier of sabotaging his relationships whenever things start to get serious. Frasier vows to "commit to commitment," and tries to win Julia back. She accepts his apology and sleeps with him, and the pair seems to be getting along well. However, Julia proceeds to offend the entire Crane family during a dinner that Niles and Daphne had scheduled to announce her pregnancy. Frasier and Niles suspect that Roz's new boyfriend, Barry, is gay. They see Barry on the street and believe that he has gone into a gay bar. Frasier, worried that Barry is leading Roz on, goes inside to confront him. Niles discovers that Barry actually went into an apartment building next door to the bar.
