On stage at the Hammersmith Apollo, West London, Dee delivers droll comments on everyday life and introduced comic guests. The shows are structured so that Dee would kick-off proceedings, his guest performed the bulk of the show and then Dee returned, commenting wittily on text messages sent to his mobile phone by members of the audience. (His phone number was displayed in the foyer.)

Special Notes:
From season 3 the show was renamed Live at the Apollo, with a different host each week. Jack Dee hosted the first of the shows before guests from the earlier seasons took over.
The mobile phone element of the show was dropped for Season 4.
